Recap 2022: Community's best moments ✨

Here's to 2023: a new year of changes and new beginnings 🥂.

2022 has already passed by and we made our annual recap. While looking back, we couldn't have been more proud of what we have all achieved together 🥳. We collected the following stats...

1 | 1300+ new members

👉 For the second consecutive year, we added 1000+ new members to our network. We are now a community of 3345 healthcare innovators! This big growth shows us how important it is for you to connect across the healthcare sector and gives us the motivation to keep pushing.

2 | New identity

👉 We announced a new name, look, and feel. As the community evolves, the term “Alumni” didn't truly reflect the diversity and breadth of expertise in this network. We listen to your requests and we are now the EIT Health Innovators Community.

3 | New mentoring section

👉 For those interested in mentorship and coaching, we created a database of healthcare professionals on the platform, with a personalised matchmaking system. Find your perfect mentor from our pool of over 150 experts; click here!

4 | 9 face-to-face events organised

👉 We managed to conduct 9 in-person events in 2022 alone, including EIT Connect, Medical Valley Erlangen (see picture below), plus 3 regional community meetups with our Italian, Spanish and Romanian members, and 4 side events to VivaTech, Bits & Pretzels, and EIT Health Summit. 5 | New Board members

👉 We welcomed Oshin, Adriano, Hussam, and Adnan as Board members and part of the leading team! 🍾🎊 Get to know the current team at meet the Board page.

6 | Local Representatives Summit

👉 After hundreds of online events, 25 representatives were more than happy to arrive at Albert Hall in Vienna to work toward creating value for all the EIT Health Innovators Community members and partners. Get to know your local representatives here!

7 | We are present in 68 countries

👉 We now have members spread across 68 countries, on all continents - except for Antarctica of course! 🐧 We know they are out there and will reach them soon 😜!

8 | 60 new job opportunities shared
👉 We shared 60+ innovative career opportunities through our Job Board on the platform. Check the current positions: click here.

9 | 91 events created in healthcare

10 | Our newsletter is seen by 1300 members every month
